Farmi CH 380 professional pto chipper for log loader feed. The Farmi CH380 PTO chipper is designed for professional use. It must fed with a log loader only, it cannot be fed by hand because the feed conveyer would expose the operator to a risk of being dragged in. The max. stem size is 15" The chipper has a built-in hydraulic system which starts working as soon as the PTO starts turning. Hydraulically operated controls of the discharge direction, as well as hydraulic control of the lid that controls the discharge distance are standard features. The chipper also has a "no stress" control which stops the feed if the tractor rpm's are coming down. This assures better uniformity of the wood chips and prevents stalling of the tractor. The high quality bearings permit the chipper to be turned up to 1000 rpm which enables the chips to be blowed a long distance. The discharge height is 13' 6". Optional equipment such as a drawbar for pulling wagons is available.

The feed conveyer feeds in the material, which is then squeezed between the conveyer and the feed roller. The feed system makes it possible to feed in multiple stems as well as logging slash. There is a couple of videos available which you can view if you have a high speed internet connection.
The operator has a control box in the cab from which he can control all the required functions when running the chipper. The operator also has two foot pedals to control the feed. The controls are electric and wires run to the valves of the chipper. |
